Gifts Still Needed for Delcamp Scholarship

In April, choir alumni gathered to honor Robbe Delcamp on his retirement as University Organist and choirmaster of the University Choir. The group is enthusiastically raising funds to create a lasting testament to his career through an endowed scholarship for choir members.

Sewanee Enjoys Record-Breaking Fundraising Year

With an $8 million bequest leading the way, the University of the South had a record-breaking year in fundraising in fiscal-year 2016, with $33.6 million in gifts and bequests from over 17,000 individuals and organizations. Gifts and grants are helping the University meet financial aid commitments, develop strong new academic programs and support faculty, enrich campus and community life, and offer outstanding theological education for clergy formation and the laity.

Katie Murdock and Pete Edwards, both Class of 1996, are creating a Sewanee scene in the Pacific Northwest. These faithful Sewanee Fund donors are living life to the fullest, with dual careers and a Cascades retreat.

Allan Whitehead, C'78, found a lot of resonance with the idea of Cornerstone Scholarships. His gift is making it possible for one of today's students to attend Sewanee.
